Erasmus+ Programme: Finance

Asked by Mike WoodConservativeForeign, Commonwealth and Development OfficeTabled Answered 7 September 2026UIN 20920

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, what information her Department holds on whether the British Council has produced guidance on grant reductions relating to the Erasmus programme.

Answered by Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office

Information on grant reductions is set out in EU documents, including the Erasmus+ Programme Guide, available at: https://erasmus-plus.ec.europa.eu/erasmus-programme-guide. An example of the relevant model grant agreement is available at: https://ec.europa.eu/info/funding-tenders/opportunities/docs/2021-2027/common/agr-contr/ls-mga_en.pdf.

As the Granting Authority, the National Agency will direct grant awardees to all relevant European Commission guidance on grant reductions under EU funding programmes as part of the grant management process.
