Revenue and Customs: Salford

Asked by Mike WoodConservativeTreasuryTabled Answered 7 September 2026UIN 20932

The question

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, what the average percentage attendance rate was of assigned (a) HMRC and (b) VOA staff at 3 New Bailey, Salford in the most recent working week for which figures are available (i) as a percentage of assigned staff attending and (ii) in absolute terms.

Answered by Treasury

Office attendance data is reported monthly rather than weekly. The most recent month for which validated data is available is June 2026.

In June 2026, 2,235 of 2,620 HMRC staff assigned to Three New Bailey met their office attendance expectation, representing 85.7% of assigned staff.

The Valuation Office Group's attendance data has not been included because the available data is held by region and cannot be attributed to a specific office within that location.
