To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to the answer of 17 June 2026 to Question 8152 on Government Departments: Communication, whether the 44 HMRC embedded communicators are included in the Government Communication Service annual data collection exercise and audit of the number of GCS members.

37 embedded communicators were included in the Government Communication Service annual data collection return for HMRC. Additional data gathered as part of the GCS exercise showed that seven of the 44 colleagues included in the response to Question 8152 are not undertaking communications roles
