Asked by Mike WoodConservativeDepartment for Energy Security and Net ZeroTabled Answered 8 September 2026UIN 21026

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero, with reference to the Answer of 10 March 2026 to Question 113128 on Public Appointments: Secondment, whether any of the direct ministerial appointments within the remit of the Department are secondments.

Answered by Department for Energy Security and Net Zero

The Department has over 50 direct ministerial appointments which are managed on a delegated basis, through the relevant policy areas. Consequently, the information requested is not held centrally and can only be obtained at disproportionate cost.
