Treasury: Marketing
The question
To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to the answer of 4 June 2026, to Question 4161, on Government departments: marketing, how much has been spend on branded goods and merchandise by the department since the Government Chief Commercial Officer letter was sent; on what items, and at what cost.
Answered by Treasury
Data for this category of expenditure is not held centrally and could only be collated at a disproportionate cost.
HM Treasury implemented the policy restricting spend on any branded goods and merchandise via a Departmental wide communication in April 2025.
