To ask the Secretary of State for Business, Innovation, Science and Trade, pursuant to the answer of 10 July 2026 to Question 15234 on EU Files Forum, for what reason confidentiality is required in relation to the attendees of the EU Files Forum; and what the criteria are for selecting organisations to attend that forum.

The EU Files Forum membership comprises the following Business Representative Organisations:

ADS Group, BioIndustry Association, British Chambers of Commerce, British Retail Consortium, Confederation of British Industry, Federation of Small Businesses, Food and Drink Federation, Institute of Directors, Make UK, Renewable Energy Association, Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, techUK, The Chartered Institute of Export & International Trade and TheCityUK.

Membership has been drawn from a cross-section of trade associations representing businesses of all sizes across the UK economy. Collectively, these organisations provide extensive sectoral expertise and established networks with businesses affected by EU regulatory developments.
