The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, whether any members of his Department met with or corresponded with Lord Mandelson in relation to commercial deals between the UK Government and Palantir.

Answered by Ministry of Defence

The Ministry of Defence has no record of any meetings or correspondence involving Lord Mandelson in relation to the award of the Defence Enterprise Agreement with Palantir. As the former Secretary of State for Defence has previously stated, Lord Mandelson had no influence or involvement in that contract. The agreement was awarded in accordance with the Procurement Act 2023 and the relevant governance and approval processes.
