The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the answer of 20 April 2026 to Question 124859 on Defence: Finance, what monetary amount of NATO qualifying spend was outside the MOD budget in 2024-25; and from which departments and funding streams did the funding come from.

In 2024-25, the United Kingdom's total NATO qualifying defence expenditure was approximately £65.8 billion, of which approximately £6.3 billion was outside the Ministry of Defence budget. This includes expenditure from other Government Departments, including HM Treasury and the Cabinet Office, amongst others.
