The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to page 14 of his Department's Strategic Defence review, published on 2 June 2025, what progress his Department has made in making the UK a leading tech-enabled defence power before 2035.

Since publication of the Strategic Defence Review, the Ministry of Defence has continued work to strengthen digital, cyber, data and AI capabilities, accelerate innovation, and implement reforms to improve the delivery of advanced technologies to the Armed Forces.

The Defence Industrial Strategy also supports delivery of the Strategic Defence Review's vision through a new partnership with industry, strengthening innovation, driving growth, and improving the UK's ability to develop and field advanced military capabilities quickly.
