The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what progress has been made by the Integrated Global Defence Network.

Answered by Ministry of Defence

The Integrated Global Defence Network (IGDN) has demonstrated significant progress by completing the SDR-directed Network Review in April 2026. The IGDN is now implementing those findings to ensure that the network is configured to best deliver against Defence’s core roles and priorities, enhancing command and control and streamlining Defence Engagement planning and execution. Further opportunities are being realised through improved orchestration of Defence’s overseas engagement, enhanced support to the overseas workforce, and continued professionalisation of Defence Engagement.
