Indo-Pacific Region: Joint Exercises
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, when the next joint exercises involving British forces are scheduled to take place in the Indo-Pacific.
Answered by Ministry of Defence
British forces regularly participate in exercises with allies and partners across the Indo-Pacific. Planned activity includes exercises and training with partners including Australia, India and Japan, alongside wider engagement through the Five Power Defence Arrangements (FPDA) with other regional partners. The next joint exercise is next month, as aligned to the FPDA annual cycle. The Government will continue to use these activities to strengthen interoperability and defence cooperation across the region.
