Asked by Stuart AndersonConservativeMinistry of DefenceTabled Answered 7 September 2026UIN 21639

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to page 115 of his Department’s Strategic Defence Review, published 2 June 2025, what progress he has made on autonomous collaborative platforms.

Answered by Ministry of Defence

Developed prior to the publication of the Strategic Defence Review, the RAF fielded its first Autonomous Collaborative Platform (ACP), Stormshroud, an electronic warfare platform. The Defence Investment Plan has also set out the next phase of ACP with subsequent announcements by Chief of the Air Staff announcing Storm Fighter, Storm Chrome, and Storm Fire; a cohesive family of autonomous systems designed to shift the economic balance of air combat.
