The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to page 10 of his Department’s Defence Industrial Strategy, published 8 September 2025, what progress his Department has made on the UCAS defence portal.
Answered by Ministry of Defence
We are currently working with UCAS and the defence industry, through the Defence Industries Joint Council, to create a defence portal on the UCAS website. This will raise awareness and interest in careers in the defence industry to students at an age where they are considering future careers and their education pathways. Further details about the portal will be announced in due course.
