National Highways: Public Relations

Asked by Mr Richard HoldenConservativeDepartment for TransportTabled Answered 8 September 2026UIN 21982

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the Answer of 14 July 2026 to Question 16599 on National Highways: Expenditure, if she will place a copy of the contract with Lexington referred to in that Answer in the Library.

Answered by Department for Transport

Given the commercial sensitivity of contracting with suppliers, National Highways does not routinely publish its contracts in the House of Commons Library. Details of all contracts awarded by the Department and its arm’s length bodies above the relevant thresholds are published on the Government’s Contracts Finder service. This includes information on the value and purpose of each contract.
