Maternity Services: Temperature
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what assessment her Department has made of the potential impact of excessive temperatures in hospital maternity units on (a) maternal, (b) neonatal and (c) general staff wellbeing; and whether she plans to issue additional (i) guidance and (ii) funding to support NHS trusts in managing heat-related risks within maternity services.
