To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what cross-departmental work her Department is undertaking with the Home Office to ensure local suicide prevention strategies specifically address victims of domestic abuse and coercive control.

The Hon Member raises a hugely important issue, which matters not just for the National Suicide Prevention Strategy but also the Government’s strategy to tackle Violence against Women and Girls. This is a personal priority for my Rt Hon. Friend, the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, and she will address these and related issues further in the coming months.
