To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, what assessment his Department has made of the potential implications for its policies of Adzuna's data entitled UK Job Market Report published on 30th May 2026; and what steps he is taking to support university graduates entering the labour market.

This Government recognises the importance of supporting graduates and young people to build meaningful and productive careers. Which is why we are strengthening Jobcentre Plus and, in England, bringing together Jobcentre Plus and the National Careers Service to provide more joined-up employment, skills and careers support. Over the next three years the Government will also invest £2.5 billion to help young people build skills, gain experience and progress into employment or further learning, supporting almost one million young people and creating up to 500,000 jobs, training and learning opportunities.
Through our employer engagement networks, DWP encourages employers to create pathways into work, including graduate roles, internships, work experience and apprenticeships, supporting the development of future talent pipelines. Graduates who may face challenges entering the labour market can access tailored support through Jobcentre Plus and JobHelp (https://jobhelp.campaign.gov.uk/).
DWP also works with universities, colleges and local partners through local employment and careers activity, helping connect students and graduates with employers, vacancies and wider labour market support.
