To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, pursuant to the Answer of 10 July 2026 to Question 15075 on Uncrewed Systems, by when will he commence a programme to develop and produce uncrewed vehicles for the Army.
Answered by Ministry of Defence
As part of the Defence Investment Plan, the Department set out its plan to invest £150M in the development and production of uncrewed vehicles for the Army. I can confirm that work to develop and field uncrewed ground vehicle capability as part of the Army’s wider modernisation programme has commenced.
