To ask the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, what recent discussions she has had with the Secretary of State for Business and Trade on measures to reduce food price inflation.

The Ministers and Secretary of State for the Department of the Environment Food and Rural Affairs have many discussions with their counterparts across Government on a variety of issues, which have included discussions on food price inflation. The department is actively monitoring food price inflation as part of this Government’s focus on Cost of Living pressures.
