To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to his Department's press notice entitled £708 million to accelerate UK next-generation air combat technology, published on 22 July 2026, whether the funding announced for the Future Combat Air System represents (a) new funding and (b) funding previously allocated in departmental spending plans.
