To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many participants left the Pathways to Work programme without entering employment.

Pathways to Work brings together changes in our Jobcentres and a range of specialist and more intensive support to help disabled people and people with health conditions access the benefits of good work.
While the Department intends to evaluate the impact of Pathways to Work on employment in due course, information on participation and early outcomes for individual elements of Pathways to Work is currently published where available, including for Pathways to Work Advisers, Connect to Work and WorkWell.
An impact analysis on the employment outcomes of participants who received additional work coach support, on which the Pathways to Work Adviser approach builds, was published 25 March 2026 and is available at: The impact of Additional Work Coach Support on the employment outcomes of LCWRA participants: an extended impact assessment at 24 months after first participation - GOV.UK.
We publish quarterly official statistics on Connect to Work at: Connect to Work statistics - GOV.UK.

It should be noted that Pathways to Work programmes are at early stages of delivery and published performance data should be interpreted with this in mind.
