To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what expenditure his Department has incurred on legal representation for veterans involved in Troubles-related legacy proceedings since 5 July 2024.

Since 5 July 2024, MOD records suggest more than £3.2 million has been spent on external legal representation commissioned directly by the Ministry of Defence for veterans involved in Troubles-related legacy proceedings.
