The question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether her Department consulted (a) asylum seekers, (b) refugee organisations, (c) local authorities, (d) police forces and (e) organisations representing women and victims of domestic and sexual abuse before publishing the guide entitled Understanding behaviours and expectations in the UK: a guide for asylum seekers.

Answered by Home Office

The products were developed through an evidence-informed process involving behavioural expertise, stakeholder engagement and lived experience input from asylum seekers. These resources were produced to ensure there was clear and consistent information available to asylum seekers about what is expected of them while they are in the asylum system.
