To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the Ministry of Defence annual report and accounts 2025 to 2026, Losses, what constituted the £1,656,000 stores loss in relation to the Damage to aircraft.

The £1,656,000 damage to aircraft stores loss listed in the Ministry of Defence Annual Report and Accounts 2025-26 refers to the costs arising from damage to Voyager aircraft engines at RAF Brize Norton by Palestine Action activists on 20 June 2025. The assessment and repair of the damaged engines are ongoing. The final total cost will only be known at the conclusion of regular maintenance work towards the end of 2027.
