To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to Recommendation 3 of the 2025 Strategic Defence Review, what progress he has made on a) establishing and b) tracking metrics for productivity within defence.

Defence is developing a productivity measurement framework to support implementation of Recommendation 3 of the Strategic Defence Review. An initial set of priority productivity metrics has been identified, and work is underway to establish reporting, governance and data collection arrangements to support consistent measurement across Defence.
