The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to Recommendation 4 of the 2025 Strategic Defence Review, whether he has received the 2026 annual statement on force design that identifies what has changed.

The development of the Integrated Force Design 2035 (IFD35) is underway following the publication of the Defence Investment Plan (DIP). IFD35 will be a classified document shared with the Defence Secretary of State and the internal Defence and Cross Government Senior leadership.
An annual statement of reporting will follow a year after the first IFD35 is completed. This is anticipated to complete in Autumn 2026.
