The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to recommendation 12 of the 2025 Strategic Defence Review, what progress he has made in implementing a review of export licensing policies.

The review of export licensing policies will examine internal processes and arrangements to ensure these are positioned to deliver a modern, responsive, transparent and predictable service that is easy to navigate for exporters. Industry have been consulted on the draft terms of reference and this has been shared with the Business and Trade Committee for consideration.
