The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the 2025 Strategic Defence Review, whether he has established a plan for the Defence Academy to invite company leaders, from FTSE100 companies and wider, onto Defence courses by February 2026, as outlined in Recommendation 26.
Answered by Ministry of Defence
The Defence Academy is already inviting leaders from FTSE 100 Companies, other relevant companies and Civil Society Organisations to attend Defence courses. Further work to deliver the Strategic Defence Review recommendation is ongoing, as this represents an opportunity to shape Defence’s engagement with industry, especially in cyber, technology and specialist capabilities.
