The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to recommendation 41 of the 2025 Strategic Defence Review, what progress he has made in modernising the two divisions and the Corps HQ that his Department provides to NATO.

Answered by Ministry of Defence

The Army continues to modernise the divisional and Corps headquarters it provides to NATO, in line with the Strategic Defence Review. This includes improving deployability, readiness and lethality, strengthening enabling capabilities, and integrating new equipment and uncrewed systems. The first division comprises a fully deployable divisional headquarters, three manoeuvre brigades with armoured and mechanised capabilities, a support brigade and associated enablers.
