The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to recommendation 47 of the 2025 Strategic Defence Review, what progress he has made in augmenting the existing fleet of A400M with additional more (a) A400M, (b) civilian charter and (c) sponsored service options in order to reduce routine demand on RAF air transport that does not require military capability.

Increasing the capacity and efficiency of Military Air Transport continues to be evaluated following the release of the Defence Investment Plan. Future air mobility requirements will continue to be considered through the Department's established capability planning processes.
