The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to recommendation 49 of the 2025 Strategic Defence Review, what progress he has made in funding the resilience of military space systems, including a focus on (a) space control, (b) decision advantage and (c) capabilities that support the Understand and Strike functions.

The Ministry of Defence (MOD) has continued to invest in resilient military space capabilities, focused on space control, decision advantage, and supporting Defence's ability to understand threats and conduct operations. In line with the Defence Investment Plan, this includes investment in space domain awareness, command and control, satellite communications, and space-based intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance.
The Department does not comment on the detailed capabilities of its space systems for operational and security reasons.
