The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to recommendation 61 of the 2025 Strategic Defence Review, what progress he has made in (a) assessing how best to generate income and maximise the value of its assets under the Recapitalisation Plan and (b) adjusting the Defence Estate Optimisation programme accordingly.

Answered by Ministry of Defence

The overarching Defence Infrastructure Recapitalisation Plan has not yet been delivered and is under development, with delivery scheduled for a revised target date of December 2026.
