To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to paragraph 3.1.19 of the Defence Investment Plan, published on 30 June 2026, what is the full scope if the £40m investment in the Raising Our Standards programme.

The £40 million investment in the Raising Our Standards programme has funded the establishment of Defence's system-wide programme to improve standards of behaviour, trust and people assurance, including initial programme design, pilot activity, and improvements to the systems and processes used to address unacceptable behaviour. The funding is now supporting delivery of five integrated reforms covering organisational health, support systems, conduct systems, leadership and learning, and communications. These reforms aim to improve organisational insight, strengthen support and conduct arrangements, increase trust and accountability, and support Defence's ability to attract, develop and retain the people it needs.
