To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to paragraph 3.2.24 of the Defence Investment Plan, published on 30 June 2026, what key performance indicators will he introduce in order to evidence that every contract signed by his Department delivers more British jobs, apprenticeships and innovation across the UK.

As set out in the Defence Investment Plan, the Ministry of Defence will bring forward a package of Back British measures to ensure defence investment strengthens and rebuilds and UK capability, resilience and sovereign industrial capacity, while delivering the Defence Dividend across every region and nation of the UK.
