The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, pursuant to the answer of 25 March 2026, to question 122323 on Transport: Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority, what consolidated funding streams are available to the CPCA IN 2026/27 to facilitate bus transport in rural areas within the Huntingdon constituency.

Answered by Department for Transport

The Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Combined Authority will receive a total local transport settlement of £293,014,263 over the Spending Review period (2026/27 to 2028/29 for resource funding and 2029/30 for capital funding). This is paid as a single Mayoral Transport Fund, giving Cambridgeshire and Peterborough the freedom and flexibility to support the strategic priorities of the local transport network.
