Air Ambulance Services: Cambridgeshire
The question
To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, what steps has she taken to support the provision of PHEM training by Air Ambulance charities in Cambridgeshire.
Answered by Department of Health and Social Care
The East of England currently hosts eight Pre-Hospital Emergency Medicine (PHEM) trainees per year as part of the PHEM subspeciality training programme, across three local education providers. The East of England region has also initiated and implemented the new national PHEM monthly training programme delivered in partnership with air ambulance providers across the United Kingdom.
