No, the closure of MODNET Evolve took place in August 2026 not July.
The programme successfully delivered its approved scope, including enabling Defence to exit the legacy Defence Information Infrastructure contract and transition to modern digital services.
Following submission of the programme closure report by the Senior Responsible Owner earlier in June 2026, the Defence Major Programmes Portfolio Sponsor Group formally endorsed programme closure and removal from the Defence Major Programmes Portfolio on 24 August 2026.
