High Speed 2 Line: Euston Station

Asked by Ben Obese-JectyConservativeDepartment for TransportTabled Answered 8 September 2026UIN 23176

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Transport, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, what progress has she made in defining the integrated Euston Station Spatial Plan and delivery schedule.

Answered by Department for Transport

The Department is working with key partners to develop affordable, integrated plans for the Euston Station Campus, which include the development of a spatial plan and a delivery schedule. In April, the Department established the new Euston Delivery Company (EDC) as the single directing mind for the Euston programme. The EDC is in the process of refining the spatial plan and delivery schedule, which have been developed in collaboration with Euston partners. This will form the basis for further development through the next stages of design. Further details will be provided in due course.
