The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, Protector, what progress he has made in resolving the Protector programme’s Full Motion Video metadata dissemination issues.

Answered by Ministry of Defence

Protector has been employed on operations since November 25, with Full Motion Video being passed to operational users. Metadata issues are expected to be resolved by the end of Quarter 3 of Financial Year 2026-27 (October to December 2026).
