The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, SKYNET 6 (aka FBLOS), following the publication of the Defence Investment Plan what is the scale of the disparity between the programme’s scope and financial provision.

The SKYNET 6 programme’s scope and budget are aligned for the duration of the current Parliament. Balance of investment assessments will continue to be made throughout the life SKYNET as operational requirements, threat assessments and priorities change.
