To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, Naval Support Integrated Global Network programme, following the publication of the Defence Investment Plan, whether he has been able to fully de-risk subsequent delivery stages and remove constraints on long-term affordability.

The Naval Support Integrated Global Network (NSIGN) programme continues to progress, with risk substantially addressed or actively managed through established processes. The reduction in reported Whole Life Cost reflects updated assumptions on scope, delivery and commercial arrangements. NSIGN remains on track to meet its current timetable, subject to negotiations and approvals, with further detail to be reported through established reporting mechanisms.
