To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what is the full scope of the Maritime Capabilities Replacement Programme.

Answered by Home Office

The scope of the Maritime Capabilities Replacement Programme is to deliver the procurement of a new fleet of vessels for Border Security Command Maritime, ensuring that all necessary supporting activities are identified and delivered to successfully bring this new capability into service. Further background, as previously shared with potential suppliers through the Prior Information Notice, can be found here https://www.find-tender.service.gov.uk/Notice/010571-2024?origin=SearchResults&p=1. A new notice will be issued shortly under the new Procurement Act 2023.
