The question

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, whether the updated business case for the Emergency Services Mobile Communications programme has received final Treasury approval.

The 2025 Emergency Services Mobile Communications Programme Business Case has been refreshed to reflect delivery progress and final contract values. A successful HM Treasury Approvals Panel took place on 11 February 2026, and approval from the Chief Secretary to the Treasury was obtained on 1 May 2026, subject to conditions. A summary of the Business Case was published on GOV.UK on 4 August 2026.
