The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, New Style of Information Technology Deployed, by when does he expect to reset the programme.

Answered by Ministry of Defence

The Department is undertaking a reset of the New Style of Information Technology (Deployed) programme to align its scope, cost and schedule with Defence priorities and affordability.

Work to establish an affordable programme baseline is ongoing; however, until the programme’s future funding allocation is confirmed, the revised scope, costs and delivery timescales cannot be finalised.

It is therefore not possible to provide a definitive date for completion of the reset. The programme continues to prioritise delivery of essential operational capability within available resources.
