To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, Naval Support Integrated Global Network programme, for what reason has the Whole Life Cost of the programme decreased from £20.3 billion to £17 billion since last year.

The Naval Support Integrated Global Network (NSIGN) programme continues to progress, with risk substantially addressed or actively managed through established processes. The reduction in reported Whole Life Cost reflects updated assumptions on scope, delivery and commercial arrangements. NSIGN remains on track to meet its current timetable, subject to negotiations and approvals, with further detail to be reported through established reporting mechanisms.
