Asked by Ben Obese-JectyConservativeMinistry of DefenceTabled Answered 8 September 2026UIN 23366

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, Mine Hunting Capability, for what reason the Delivery Confidence Assessment Rating is exempt under Section 27.

Answered by Ministry of Defence

Elements of the Block 1 Mine Hunting Capability are being procured internationally via the Organisation for Joint Armament Co-operation (OCCAR). The relevant Departmental Commentary information was withheld under section 27 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 because its disclosure would, or would be likely to, prejudice the United Kingdom’s international relations.
