To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, what assessment he has made of the potential merits of using Carpenter Technology’s GNB-200 steel to reduce barrel wear within Project GRAYBURN.

Project GRAYBURN is in the concept phase. One of the primary outputs of this phase will be user requirements. These will consider the full range of performance characteristics including materials and coating requirements.
