Neighbourhood Health Centres: Mid Bedfordshire

Asked by Blake StephensonConservativeDepartment of Health and Social CareTabled Answered 8 September 2026UIN 23483

The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, if she will direct the Central East to locate a new Neighbourhood Health Centre in Mid Bedfordshire.

Answered by Department of Health and Social Care

The Department has engaged with all integrated care boards (ICB), including the Central East ICB, as part of the process for developing the future pipeline of neighbourhood health centres.

Proposals are currently being assessed against published criteria, as set out in the Neighbourhood Health Centre Guidance, with final decisions on future schemes yet to be confirmed. Projects that meet the criteria will be invited to develop detailed business cases before any final funding decisions are taken.
