To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the National Infrastructure and Service Transformation Authority Major Projects Annual Report 2025 to 2026, Tables, New Style of Information Technology Deployed, what has been removed from the scope of the programme in order to ensure it can deliver within budget.

Answered by Ministry of Defence

The scope of the New Style of Information Technology (Deployed) (NSoIT(D)) programme is currently subject to review as part of ongoing work to establish an affordable and deliverable programme baseline.

A range of options relating to scope, cost and schedule are being assessed as part of the review.

However, no final decisions have yet been taken on which elements, if any, will be removed from scope.
