The question

To ask the Secretary of State for Defence, with reference to the UK armed forces equipment and formations 2026, published on 20 August 2026, what is the status of the 17 MLRS vehicles the fleet reduced by between 2025 and 2026.

The 17 Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS) launchers referenced in the question are part of a number of launchers currently in the United States of America, where they are being upgraded as part of the Army’s modernisation programme to recapitalise its MLRS fleet.
